Here it is finally, HOG pack 49! The last pack of the year, and also the last pack I shall be releasing for now. It has been the best part of 3 weeks since my last upload (HOG packs anyway – I released a comedy record last week – most humorous, you should check it out.) I am quite upset actually, as this is the second time I have had to update this blurb.

YOU SHOULD RUN BOTH THE “CLEANER” AND “REGISTRY” PARTS ON YOUR COMPUTER. THIS PROGRAM CAN BE USED TO UNINSTALL THE GAME TOO IF YOU WANT.

If there is a game that I have missed from these packs, I would take it kindly if you informed me of this fact, I will pass the message on to HHF and I am sure he will endeavor to put it in a future pack if he can find it. This may now apply to TIME MANAGEMENT game, I don’t know. He may include them if you ask him NICELY![ I never did as I don’t play them myself!

A little help would be appreciated in uploading these packs. A lot of hit – and – running has been going on lately (which basically means people downloading then removing the torrent before uploading the amount they download) REMEMBER THAT IF THE PEOPLE THAT DOWNLOADED THE FILE BEFORE YOU DID THE SAME, YOU WOULDN’T HAVE IT EITHER (AND IF I DIDN’T, NONE OF YOU WOULD.) FILE SHARING IS, BY DEFINITION, A “SHARING” SYSTEM; DON’T BE SELFISH. IF YOU ARE GUILTY OF THIS, YOU MAY WANT TO THINK ABOUT WHAT I HAVE SAID WHEN YOUR UPLOAD SPEED IS SO SLOW…I upload at least 500% of the file size, but if you can only manage 100% that would be only fair. Give to receive!

One useful bit of information you may not know about: If you install the game on one machine, and wish to play it on another, you do not need to re-install it on the other machine. You can instead just copy the install folder across from the original install and make yourself a startup icon from that folder. This is much quicker than re-installing, as all you are doing is copying files rather than creating them. I know that I have not described this very well. I am sorry for this, but if I get enough requests, I will add a proper “how to” for this process in future pack releases. IF YOU WANT ME TO DO THIS YOU HAVE TO ASK. DON’T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT BECAUSE IT WON’T HAPPEN!

Although this is my last HOG pack, I have not heard from Hairyhogfather for some time now. He is always a busy guy, and probably hasn’t had time to be here much, but he’s a standup guy and will no doubt reappear to take the reins of these HOG packs when he has chance. These packs take longer than you thing to produce, time being very premium these days, especially for him.
